CMC Research Institutes provides a facility for the development, testing and demonstration of methane detection and monitoring technologies. It provides controlled and calibrated releases of methane, natural gas and carbon dioxide for the calibration and validation of methane detection and monitoring technologies. This allows technology developers to determine how well detection and monitoring technologies work, and the variation or dependence of their performance as a function of methane release rate and environmental conditions.
